Free & Reduced Meal Program

  • Important Announcement:  2023-2024 Meal Application is now open!

    Dear Parents/Guardians,

    The Free & Reduced Meal Program for the 2023-2024 academic year is now open for meal applications. Please note that the USDA will not be providing free meals this year.  Hence, we encourage all eligible families to complete the meal application in the Parent Portal promptly.
     
    It is vital to remember that a meal application must be submitted each school year to determine your child's eligibility for free or reduced meals.  If your child does not qualify for the program, regular charges will apply for their meals.

    As the school year begins, parents, guardians, and students should know of the changes to the federal meal waivers program. This crucial information will allow families to plan ahead, explore and apply for assistance.

    If your household budget is tight, there is help in paying for school meals. Children are eligible to receive free or reduced priced meals if their household's gross income falls within the limits on the Free & Reduced Meal application. Parents can complete and submit the application online at the Clifton Parent Portal. New applications need to be filled out each school year.

    Confidentiality

    All information provided will be kept confidential to the Clifton school district. The application information will be used to allow your student to receive free or reduced-price meals. Students are not identified in any way if they are receiving free or reduced-price meals.
