Visual & Performing Arts Academy Overview

It is our belief that educating the whole person should include an understanding and appreciation of the arts. With this in mind, the Clifton High School Visual & Performing Arts Department is proud to participate in the fostering of such an ideal. Research shows that many students who participate in the fine and performing arts invariably do well in their overall academic studies and in careers later in life. This has led us to design and proudly provide a rich variety of visual and performing arts experiences for ninth through twelfth-grade students.

CHS offers a broad range of arts classes including (but not limited to) Ceramics, Digital Photography, Crafts, AP Studio Art, Ceramics, Dance, Drama, Band, Orchestra, Piano, Chorus, and Film/Television Production. We also offer many incredible extra-curricular clubs, where students can extend and enrich their learning after school. Whether it's participating in the musical, choreographing dance routines, or creating murals, there's something for everyone in the arts here at CHS.

VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY is a practical education based on experiential learning in the following concentrations -- band, choir/vocal, dance, drama, orchestra, studio art, and tv/video production.
